Thanks Tom D (1)

for the Oakley recommendation from an earlier post. I read your writeup on the product/company and took the plunge. I had avoided purchasing from them in the past because I was worried the product wouldn’t live up to the “hype” of the company.

well, yesterday, purchased a pair of M-frame sweeps, with grey lens and picked up a replacement lens for not so sunny conditions. Like last night at my crit.

Couldn’t believe the clarity and acuity of the lens! spectacular! and the ride home was in dusk-light conditions but no worries.

during the race, absolutely NO slippage off of the nose. NO fogging. No scratches from the debris coming off of the road.

I am most pleased with my purchase and I have you to thank for nudging me towards them.

That’s my pleasure Sir. I’ve been selling Oakley products since the company started and am a believer. Perhaps the best sales tool for Oakley is other sunglass brands. Once you wear those, then put on a pair of Oakleys, the difference is apparent.

I was wearing Rudy Projects for the past 5 years.

Difference is night and day.

So true…

Once you spend that much money on a pair of sunglasses, you’re pretty much forced to rave about them, otherwise you look like a fool for spending that much money on a pair of sunglasses.

Actually, not true. If I wasn’t happy with the quality, I would have returned them. For the money I paid, I expected to be wowed and I was. So, no, I am not forced to rave about them.
