Thanks big guy! (points to sky)

Just got back from my 16 mile run. All of it on the pavement. And not a hint of pain or stiffness.
I have recovered from my calf strain injury and could not be happier. I have a big marathon in a few weeks and was afraid I was not going to race due to the injury. It really had me worrying.

A few thing that really helped me get over a pretty major calf strain in two weeks.
Bought new shoes. Took walks and swam in the early days after the injury. Ran short miles on grass while feeling mild pain during the week. Took days off between short runs. Ran long on weekends on the grass but only to the point where the pain got worse. Used the STICK to massage both calves after each run and throughout the day. Applied ICE after the runs. NO NSAIDs
So it has been a total of two weeks and a day and am back on my training schedule.
