Thank You Tom Demerly

Got out on the bike today after you and Mike did some tweeking on my fit. I read Dan’s article on the Arione (sp?) this morning and was worried that maybe it wasn’t necessarily the seat for me. A two hour ride told me you were right. The Azoto was the most comfortable saddle I had ridden prior to the Arione. The DeSoto seat cover gives me all the extra cushion that I need and the seat its self gives you all the room in the world to move around as needed.

That shim on the right shoe made things more comfortable and I felt no ill effects from the lowering of the bars; I think that we could have gone lower but I’ll keep moving it down. It all made a difference of easily 1-2 mph. Climbed faster with a lower heart rate and really felt faster and more comfortable on the flats. Between Mike’s diplomacy and your telling me as you saw it I think that this will be a great season.

It was worth the 2hr drive and the wait. Anyone in the midwest or coming to the midwest and wants things done honestly and correctly, yours is the place. Thanks again to Mike and your self.

PS Bike looks new after the spring cleaning this morning. : )

Which size seat cover did you get?

I got the DeSoto and don’t know the size. I know that Mike had the thing inside out and then on in no time. Would probably taken me forever. Like Dan says in his article, it doesn’t fit perfect because of the length of the seat. However, given the bike I have, I’m not into looks (my butt should be covering the thing when its earning its keep) but results.

Thanks for the Thank you! You have no idea how much that means to us. This time of year I am getting about 3-4 hours of sleep a night between bike builds and web updates and bike fits, so it means a lot to hear something other than “Where’s my bike?!?!?”

It is a pleasure to take care of customers like yourself.

The Desoto saddle pad size we install on the Arione is the smaller of the two- not the wide.
