Testing Blue Seventy Wetsuits at IMLP?

Can you buy them at a discount at IMLP, or am I dreaming? I would love to be able to swim in some and be fitted properly while in Lake Placid.

I desperately need a new wetsuit and I don’t have a local trishop that will let me test drive a suit before I buy it. If worse comes to worse, I can wear my old, ill-fitting one, but I would rather not!

I’m not sure about Blue Seventy or some of the others like QR, Xterra, ORCA, etc., but Emilio from DeSoto has a satisfaction guarantee that will
allow you to try his products including the T1 wetsuits. If you can’t make it work for you, they will take it back and refund your money even after
it has been used. The difference is that the wetsuits only allow a 14 day trial period versus 90 days on the rest of his products. The T1 is also a
two piece design which will give you a lot more fitting options depending on your body type. You can buy direct from him, or one of his dealers if
you have one close by. Maybe some of the other ST’ers can help with the other wetsuit companies on their demo programs.

you can also go into High Peaks Cyclery and demo a 2XU wetsuit that week.

Fantastic! I really wanted to try those & almost bought one but for the fact that I needed to swim in it (obviously) first.

You also want to check with Steve Fleck from Nineteen. I beleive he will be in LP…

Cheers,
Fred.

Blue 70 will be at the Gatorade morning swims in LP - you can test swim a Blue 70 wet suit and they will fit you! They have great deals for the suits at the expo! Z

When I did IM AZ in 2006 I test swum a Blue Seventy wetsuit, and loved it!
They let me trade my old wetsuit in for a new one(they knocked $100.00 off).
