As a life-long Terminator fan, I am STOKED over the upcoming release of Terminator Salvation! This (and the new Star Trek movie) may get me to go to the theatre to watch a movie for the first time in over 10 years.
I’m stoked about it. I even watched a few of the “Terminator Chronicles” episodes – terrible but it helped me get my fix.
I have been thuroughly enjoying the Sarah Connor Chronicles until the last two or three. They were great at first, but, seem to be rapidly jumping the shark. Plus, they just got the kiss of death – Friday night time slot.
OK, also a lifelong Terminator fan, but this seems and feels too much like the current Battlestar Galactica, with skinjob robots that think they are human. I bet at some point there’s some worry about whether Marcus will flip or if he is programmed to do a certain purpose and that programming is hidden and will kick in at some undetermined point. I don’t know why, but the trailer actually took some wind out of my sails for this movie.
Oh, and don’t f-in’ touch that f-kin’ light while I am typing you f-in’ retard. Are you that un-f-in’ professional…
Yeah, I think most folks knew it wasn’t going to last long in general. And, you’re right, the first couple of episodes with real terminators were sweet. The last few Sarah’s psychological introspective episodes have been sub-par.
It just isn’t going anywhere anymore. At first, it progressed nicely, but, now there are too many sub-plots and personal demons and side-stories. It just isn’t going anywhere.
Plus, why doesn’t the red-head go after John? Seriously, she shredded the factory in the desert like it was nothing. She is one of the advanced “liquid” terminators. Why not just go after John?
