I’m coming down to the Tempe area next week and looking for some good places for a 5-10 mile run. I am staying near the A.S.U. campus but I will have a car. Any suggestions?
You can run the IMAZ loop. But honestly, it’s confusing and sucks.
Drive about 15-20 minutes down to South Mountain and run the trails there.

If you get confused and start sucking … just run around Tempe Town lake between Priest and Scottsdale road which is most of the IMAZ course anyway and is quite scenic and very close by for you.

Also the papago park area is about the same distance as SM.
