Tell me again: lowest arm rest for a clip-on (round base bar)?

I’ve been riding my Syntace Streamliners for a few years, and, while very comfortable, they are pretty up high and I want to get lower. I know this has been discussed before, but I don’t want to wade:

Whose clip-ons are lowest?

P.S. I have no spacers and a flat stem. Thanks in advance.

Easy. Hed clip ons. Hardly anything at all.

Profile T2, mounted upside down like Slowman and Bjorn. Actually lower than the Hed if you can believe that.

Yup. I have the Profiles mounted under the bar. The pads come up just enough so my arms clear the handlebars.

I use the deda clip-ons and a pair of cincelli pads wrapped around the bars. Forearms will be as high as your bars.

However, I only race short stuff, so you might want to use the original deda armrests if you’re going longer.

Any tricks to doing this outside of what Dan did for Bjorn? I just got a new bike that came spec’ed with Profile Aerolites, and I grabbed the T2s online yesterday to do just what you mentioned.
