Trying to establish the feasibility of getting data transfer between an Ipad gen 2 and a Polar M400. The gen 2 Ipad does not have bluetooth 4.0. Has anybody ever used a USB Ipad adaptor to sync their GPS watch? Specifically, either the V800 or M400?
I can’t help with anything related to the Polar but maybe what I do with my Garmin will help.
When I travel I only bring my iPad mini. I run/ride with my Garmin 910. I use the Wahoo app in combination with the Wahoo Key to get the data from the watch to my iPad. Once it’s in the Wahoo app I can then push it to Strava.

Hi Logella, thanks for the response. Curious, I am unfamiliar with the Wahoo Key. Was there a piece of Wahoo software that had to be downloaded (some kind of driver) to the Ipad to recognize the Key?
Does Polar have some kind of iOS app that makes it possible to see the data in some way? I use BT to sync my Garmin with the Connect app o my phone and iPad, but the actual data is uploaded to the garmin cloud.

You need the Wahoo Fitness app plus the Key to make it all work.
