I just bought a new ('03 model) Dura Ace rear derailleur to replace an Ultegra one that was damaged. I have never installed one before and so printed out the service docs from the Shimano website. It looks pretty straightforward but I know some things are not as simple as they appear. Are there any tricks or things I should avoid? Is if safe to assume my existing chain will fit fine and cable length should be ok?
