am i missing something? why are voight and rasmussen in breakaways and not back helping basso and levi?
Yup, you’re missing something. Having those guys in the breaks takes the pressure off the team to chase. The other teams will chase, depending on their agendas. Without those guys in the break, Basso and Levi have to have their guys at the front keeping them out of trouble and ready for any breaks by a major contender. This covers only a few of the reasons to have them up there, but rest assured, it is helping Basso and Levi to have them up there. Postal is an anomaly by not constantly putting people in the breaks. They keep the team together and grind the rest into the dirt when it suits their tactics. They have not always raced this way, but this year particularly they are conspicously missing from all the major breaks.
i figured the team directors of 2 major teams knew more than me.
