Thought this was a very cool post in our Team USA yahoo group, even though only Mdot seems to matter on ST. Hey You all! XXXXXXX here…I have been on Team USA since the first World Championship in 1989! BELIEVE ME…it is the most rewarding experience you will ever have! YES…I have been to EVERY WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP and can honestly say… We are Ambassadors for our Country “The United States of America”!! GO TEAM USA!!!
****So, I do not care what any of you negatives types say, I am proud, and I and others are going to have a great time being ambassadors to our country!!
I would hope an ambassador for our country would have a more economical sense of the use of bold print. Also his/her punctuation and capitalization skills are lacking and tell him/her that the name of our country doesn’t need to be in quotes.
Who cares about that pep rally shit, did you guys all get the matching tattoos?
Why slam all of ST with a general comment, then sing your own praises? I am happy for you and yes you can be proud, but Jesus when you slam the IM-centric nature of the endurance folks here in the same post you are tooting your own horn expect negative responses.
Paulo, good effort but you could have done better.
Disclaimer: I’m actually a member of Team USA (2006 Long Course Worlds). Oh, I’m also a 14+ hour Ironman, so Team USA is not as prestigious as you may think if they let someone as pitifully slow as me on the “team”!

they have to stock the rear end of the team with slow pokes to make the real fast guys look superhuman
