Do you peruse the classifieds here? I can’t tell you how many times people are selling a bike or a wheelset they won for close to retail. People do it all the time, no big deal. Hell, I have a lot of cycling and tri gear that I bought with money made by selling off stuff I received from schools I coached at or had friends coaching or playing at on ebay.
it wasnt free to the person, Im on that team, although since I havent been able to get in contact with them, im guessing the team is going under. They charge 25.00 admin fees to get a new uniform. If anybody wants mine ill give it to them for 25.00 plus shipping, its a tri top and shorts made by sugoi, size L.
Actually, in 2005 it was free. Last year they asked for $25. I like mine: Ugly, just starting to fall apart (after about a dozen uses & light washes) but fits and feels good. But I wouldn’t pay $90 for one.

the year they had the orange suit it was free. I 've got one i don’t wear because I hate the color and I would not try to get someone to pay me 90 bucks for something I had given to me.
