I’m delivering a motivational (I hope it is motivational) speech this weekend about dealing with adversity in athletics to youth and parents which is connected to a non-profit organization. Part of my speech includes showing the four minute “Can” video of Team Hoyt.
I won’t have internet access in the room and so I can’t connect to YouTube to show it. I need a local copy of the actual file.
Does anyone have it? If so, can you point me in the right direction to get it or send it to me?
Thanks.
you could try saving the clip from YouTube. Of course someone put directions on YouTube…

I don’t know how quickly they could get you the video you need but it’s worth a call/email.
Hey -
Go to www.ironmantalk.com then go to links. Then click on Dave Scott Mark Allen duel 1989, I believe it’s the second part (there’s like 6 parts). It’s the ABC sports coverage and they do a huge piece on the Hoyts—they go into the full story of the how the Hoyts became super studs. As an advocate and consultant (also have 2 brothers with Downs) in the are of people with disabilities —their story has always blown my mind and is one of the greatest things any human has ever done in my book.
Not sure if this is the one you are after, but it does have insperation.

You definitely save anything that’s on YouTube…
