Team Donkey: "Cripples and the elderly to the back so the First Lady doesn't have to look at you."

WI gov hopeful, Mary Burke, held a rally in Milwaukee yesterday with the First Lady. The press was ordered not to interview anyone in the crowd. Disabled vets and other disabled individuals were told to get to the back of the room while VIP seating was put in place for the beautiful people.

But, hey, don’t take my word for it. Check out Lefty reporter Erin Richards as she tweeted live. Also, Tony Snell Rodriguez, Uber-Donkey and LorenzoP’s idol, post live pics.

What is it the Donkeys were chanting to the WI Legislature when they passed Act 10? Oh yeah, “Shame! Shame! Shame!”

Here’s how people in wheelchairs are treated @Burke4WI event in Milwaukee.
3:40 PM - 29 Sep 2014

Good thing that Uncle Joe Biden is not addressing the crowd, huh? Me might ask the wheelchair bound to stand and be recognized.

People with money get special privileges while everyone else gets screwed - film at 11?

Ugh. Real nice. Love my state, don’t love it’s politics.

Of course the local dead tree will not report on this, even though it was one of their own reporters. But, we made national news again.

Meg Kissinger, a reporter for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, posted on Facebook that she was told by a White Househttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1.png aide that she was not allowed to talk to people in the crowd.
“ssigned to cover Michelle Obama’s speech today and was told by a Mary Burke aide and one for the White House that I could not speak to the people in the crowd. To say that I was creeped out is an understatement. This is what reporters do in America: we speak to people,” Kissinger posted. “At least that’s how I’ve been doing things — at all kinds of political events — since 1979.”
Kissinger wrote that reporters and photographers were cordoned off during the event.
“Reporters and photographers were cordoned off in a central area with chairs and tables. Several people in the crowd asked if they could have extra chairs reserved for the media — but reporters were initially forbidden from handing them over. Eventually, some of the Burke staff gave the extra chairs to attendees,” Kissinger reported.

Yes, but republicans don’t run on that, democrats do.

Yes, but republicans don’t run on that, democrats do.

Really? You think the GOP is the Party of the Poor?

Both parties favor contributors and “VIPs.” The GOP has made a pretty concerted effort to codify the VIP status of the rich into tax law and various other laws/policies. They don’t get a pass on favoring the rich.

I really think that you’re over reacting. They were clearly putting the less able people at the back of the room in case of a fire so they can get out quicker.

Can’t have this happening…

Ok, now your reading comprehension ability is in question.

The topic is Team Donkey: “Cripples and the elderly to the back so the First Lady doesn’t have to look at you.”

I said, republicans don’t run on that, democrats do.

I think most people would gather that from my statement I am saying that republicans don’t run as champions of the poor or down trodden, but democrats do. So that is why it is funny and hypocritical.

Methinks you are so desperate to point out things in my post, you are not crossing the line to absurd. It’s becoming pathological.

You need to rethink how you post. You replied to a post by jkca1 in which he said: “People with money get special privileges while everyone else gets screwed - film at 11?”

Your reply was: “Yes, but republicans don’t run on that, democrats do.”

I’m not sure why you think most people would not think your reply was in direct response to the person you replied to.

I do agree that your posts are absurd.

The GOP runs on the mantra of, “it’s their money, let them keep it” versus “how much is enough”, etc.

People do not mind that the best seats at any sporting event are always the most expensive. They just want to feel like they could sit in them if they decided to ante up the cash. Team donkey thinks everyone should get those seats but it’s simply not possible and a lie to tell them they deserve them and the people sitting in them “stole” them from the lower class, hard working folks.

Mitt versus Obama- which one advocates taking and which one keeping? They all like spending OPM but who brags about it and who at least lies about it?

Dems, given the chance, would take as much money from rich people as they could because they feel they deserve it.

Pubs, given the chance, would take as much money from the poor as they could because they feel they deserve it.

How does one take money from those who have no money?

Sounds like you have adopted the mantra of Team Donkey – if you reduce the amount of the handouts to the poor, you are “taking money from” the poor.

How does one take money from those who have no money?

You don’t. Can’t get blood from a turnip.

Instead, you take money from the middle class but writing laws and tax code that favor the rich and the very poor.

Because we all know how much AMT favors the wealthy.

Only the uber-rich, like Hollywood and GE, really get favorable tax code treatment while high income earners get shafted royally.

The real key is a flat tax with a bottom end exemption and kill off all other deductions.

Of course this will never work because it does not allow the politicians the ability to enrich themselves at the expense of the general tax paying public while they give special favors to select individuals and groups.

This is so true. A few favorite image of mine:
