As I recall the chicken was also alone. He couldn’t go with them because he didn’t have the legs. Of all the attacks he has chased since this tour began, he doesn’t chase the one that matters??? I hate it when riders make excuses, just say you couldn’t hang today, and leave it at that…
Well, I’m not sure he had much a point, but here’s another I just saw on Versus. Commenting on yesterday, stage 14, he says, smugly, “Well, it was two against one, what can you do?” Roll then comments that the other two were not on the same team.

Whoa, I just watched it. Cadel is full of S**t. Horner stayed with him till the acceleration by Contador. Cadel just ain’t in the same league. He was simply unable to respond. Horner finished less than a minute back of Cadel. Predictor-Lotto’s problem is that they don’t have a climber to go with their superD, Chris Horner. Bad form to blame it on lack of help when truth is you don’t have the legs. I hope Cadel blows on Wednesday and they let Horner go on.

Aust Coverage showed Evans saying the repeated attacks were too much for him and he just wasn’t strong enough to go with the others. Saw nothing of his other statements.

Never said Eveans can match the accelerations simply that having a team that could help him would certainly make things easier. Even you can’t deny that.

Hmmm, never saw Cathy say it, but you whine about attacks and rational discussions while saying it’s lame coming from me. Either why it was you who decided to go on the offensive with the blinders comment. Don’t whine about something if you are guilty of it as well.
Having a strong team can help control things in the flats and pull back breaks. But if all the leaders end up at the bottom of the last climb together, who cares if you have team mates or not. It’s game on, shut up and show your stuff time.
Sounds like a whiner to me. I haven’t rooted for him because I didn’t know much about him. After reading the reports on cyclingnews I am now rooting against him. Go super chicken!
Cadels comment on not having teammates is crap, drafting a teammate doesnt really do much good on a mountain. He said a stupid thing, but thats what sports people do. He is still a phenomenal all round rider. I hope he gets a podium spot, and the win. After watching Ras’s comments about the doping allegations I was pretty convinced hes a doper.
