In Southern California employers are required to have programs to reduce automobile traffic. When I worked for the air quality district my monthly incentives were worth about $85 a month if I cycled in 75% of the time. That was cash in my paycheck plus a parking fee rebate. Where I work now, it’s $2.00 a day if I ride in more than 10 days a month and $1.00 if I ride in less than 10 days a month. However that’s not real dollars. I either get credits at the university businesses or I can get gift cards to use at a local home improvevment store. I’ve got one of those 13 MPG vehicles (old pickup truck) so I ride to work as much as possible.
