Tasteless Sore Loser

Michael Moore

Took his website down and replaced it with a picture of W. Note that the small images are US soldiers who were killed in Iraq.

Tasteless and insulting.

sore loser? probably.

tasteless? definitely?

insulting? why? because it’s true?

Dead soldiers should never be used as a political tool or to show ones distaste for the outcome of a democratic election.

Those men and women went to Iraq fighting for a cause. Whether Moore, you, or anyone else agrees or disagrees with the cause is of no matter.

You respect those who have died wearing the US flag on their sleeve fighting under our nations name.

First I have no order to take from you.

Second, I respect anyone who deserves it. Most of the soldiers in Iraq deserve it (some that are court martialed for abu graib etc. probably not).
It doesn’t mean that I can’t say that they died for a bogus cause.

Moore laughs all the way to the bank. He loves that people love his BS. And he knows it’s BS. I have heard him literally say it doesn’t matter if he told lies in his crappy movie.

What amazes me more than Moore, is the people who give him their money. Only in America!

No one should confuse Michael Moore with those in the camp capable of an intelligent debate on the issues.

We need BULLSHIT to make truth look better.

Black to see how bright white is.

Loud to see how nice silence can be.

Less news / video from the war ,so we can start the meat grinder.

Make it end in a reasonable time. Bring the boys home walking.

What are you yelling?

fRANCOIS I DO NOT KNOW YOU OTHER THAN WHAT i SEE YOU WRITE ON THIS FORUM. YOU MAY BE A GREAT GUY BUT YOU HAVE NO CLUE WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT ON WHY SOLDIERS DIE. FOR YOU TO SAT OUR SOLDIERS ARE DYING FOR A BOGUS CAUSE IS PLAIN WRONG AND IGNORANT. NOONE SAID SOLDIERS, AMERICAN OR FRENCH, DIED FOR A BOGUS CAUSE LIBERATING YOUR COUNTRY AND ALLOWING YOU THE FREEDOMS YOU ENJOY TODAY. YOU ARE VERY SHORT SIGHTED AND FORGOT YOUR HISTORY.

1.st no need to scream.

  1. as you said, you don’t know me. so keep your comments for yourself. Yes, they are fighting for a fake cause…supposedly to rid the world of the (non) threat that Saddam was (except for his own people, but then they are plenty of other countries where you should go to), in reality, to have a strong foot in the middle east, control some part of oil.

  2. clearly WWII was NOT the same kind of war at all…the only ones that were against the entry in war of the US were germany and japan…

you clearly have a very poor understanding of history…

by the way, what I wrote about bogus cause comes from US soldiers I know who are back from Iraq…

I personally resent Moore trying to make some cheap political point by exploiting dead American soldiers. It’s beyond the pale. I can’t express my feelings on this strongly enough.

That’s a little over the top. He didn’t mean any disrespect for the soldiers, only that they were put into harm’s way for the wrong reasons, based on shoddy intelligence and shady agendas.

Soldiers fight for those alongside them, they don’t have any political agendas. I have deep respect for their sense of duty, courage, and sacrifice.

Furthermore, I doubt that you can compare WWII and the second Iraq war on a basis of legitimacy.

let’s forget one second that Moore (who is full of shit and cheeseburgers) put that picture on his site.

what does it say? hey mr. president, guys are dying everyday…they ought to be back in one piece…
SOON.

I don’t give a damn who put it up, Micheal Moore or Mother Theresa. I resent it.

What it does is use the images of United States military service members to further a political agenda, and uses them in a way that I seriously doubt they would condone. It’s disrespectful, and exploitive. They aren’t pawns to be used for political hackery. They’re men and women who died in the service of their nation. They’re memory should be left alone.

Francois, with all due respect, you are one bitter dude.

I hate to tell you this but I don’t think you can be happy here.

Call me what you want but nothing in the United States seems to suit your tastes.

The outcome of our election now leads you to think that you have to leave.

I truly hope you find happiness somewhere. I hope you stay as we as a society can certainly benefit from your presence and academic background but happiness comes from within…only you can decide its course.

I absolutley agree with you, it cheapens their deaths. That said, the reminder of casualties needs to happen, but it can be better done than that picture.

dude, you read only my posts on politics and you conclude, there is nothing in the US that I like…

have you thought about a career in extrasensorial perception or something like that?

I tell you what…you try to get a f…in green card with this current administration, as a french citizen…and see if there is no reason to be upset, when you teach in a minority serving institution, put 60hrs a week when I could get double my salary in the industry without more work, do research for YOUR country and am just treated like crap by the administration…

see how you feel about that…

talk about being clueless now.

I don’t give a damn who put it up, Micheal Moore or Mother Theresa. I resent it.

I agree.

By the way, that was really condescending and assinine.

to add one more thing…
yes I am happy. I have a lovely wife that I love and that’s the main thing for me. period.

now if I am in a country that says ‘we really need you’ but in my back makes everything possible to make me feel as a second class citizen, then screw it…

for instance, do you know that if I sell my home, the IRS can keep 10% of the sale for as long as 1 year until I prove I have paid my taxes?

Clueless about immigration policies?

I know more than you think.

Let’s use your homeland as an example.

I was offered a position in France which I pursued. When my company (which is a very large French company) tried to start the paperwork for me to even get a work visa…they were given the runaround back and forth for months when the government found out that I was an American trying to work temporarily in France. This went on for so long that I told them to forget it…it was too much of a hassle to try to get through the roadblocks and red tape to even get into your country to work legally.

No one to this day in my company has been able to move from the United States to France to work for my company. Meanwhile I have at least 15 coworkers at my side working who are from France.

I wanted to do research in your country and couldn’t even get across the border. You’re living in Texas now.

Turnabout is fair play.
