Hoping someone has some advice as to the advisability / how to of taping for shinshlints/stress fractures. So I’m pretty sure I have a stress fx on inside/back of my tibia. (I have had them 3x before, but haven’t gone to the doctor this time) I have a marathon is 4 weeks that I REALLY want to do. I have been running on bad leg for about a month, taking lots of ibuprofin, but still pretty much cant walk without a limp for 24 hrs after I run/hobble. I have been trying to stick with my training plan, but this week I have not been able to. So my desperation plan is to stay on the elliptical and bike for 4 weeks and hope it heals enough that I can pull a marathon out of my ass on the 23rd. I still have “the boot” I wore for 8 weeks last year, and am wearing that when I am around the house. But the thing is huge and I cant ride a bike or do the elliptical with it. So I want to tape it, but really don’t know how. Any advice? thanks - zoe
