Tapering..... (1)

Heading into the last week of taper before race week, and I have waaayyy too much energy. Couldn’t sleep last night, was bouncing off the walls, so I started doing pushups at midnight. Did 30 of 'em before I realized that 1) I’m tapering, and 2) I haven’t had any desire to do a pushup in about 10 years…

Then proceeded to eat everything in the fridge.

Did I just blow my taper?

Depends on the size of the fridge and race distance.

Yea you screwed up…Id look to see if its too late to transfer your entry slot and pick a race thats a week later

Its a swim meet so he can sleep between races :slight_smile:

I am on the crash taper this week. Hoping to hold form for 7 days of races.

You’re gonna have a tough day on Saturday with the 400 / 3000 double. Ouch…
