Taper question- 19.6 k mountain trail run

Hi Slowtichers
Slightly off topic but it is the off season in Tasmania at the moment.
I’ve got a three peak mountain run coming up in 18 days. Very steep course and nearly 20 kms in length. Been running 4-6 times a week with the main sessions being weekend long run 20k ish, hill session 6-10ks hard and a faster tempo run. Swimming and biking filling the gaps.
Question 1 - when should i do my last long run ?
Question 2 - when should I strart tapering my tempo and hill runs and by what sort of level?

PS the run is the Kentish Lions Triple Top mountain run in Sheffield Tasmania

I’d do your last long run one week before. Last hard tempo 4-5 days out, last hill repeats 2-3 days out (and make it a shorter workout (60% of what’s normal).

2-3 days for recovery after hills? maybe a week minimum no?
