Curious if anyone here has been there and what the reviews were. Apologies in advance for a bump or two.
That shop is great, I went there for a pair of socks and out of curiosity did a gait analysis to see if anything changed from last year. it was the most comprehensive gait analysis i’ve ever had. Usually shops have you run in 2 shoes and tell you what shoe you should be in. Fitniche had me walk, run barefoot, run with 3 pairs of shoes and played all the videos next to eachother so i could see exactly how each change affected my gait. I told the owner i do gait analysis every now and then just to see what shoe they recommend because its always different. He said the problem was that i have med arches that never collapse and that i was a midfoot striker. he guessed the top 2 shoes that are always recommended to me… then gave me his opinion. i never told him what shoe i ran in. He ended up recommending the shoe I was already in. . . it was cool to actually have someone break everything down barney style. Another good thing is theres always some kind of discount at that shop… just ask. sorry so long… all in all great shop.
Went there once a while back but seem them at a lot of the Ft. Desoto races. Was a nice small shop with real friends people. Seemed they were pushing the Newtons a good bit when I was there but my buddy was the only one shopping. All in all a nice shop and I would say worth the trip if you are local. If it is a bit away they will usually come to the bigger tri’s or running races.

I know the owner, all of the Fitniche stores are owned by one person. They are highly supportive of the athletic/ and wellness scene in general, great folks who run each store and they are athletes. You won’t go wrong in shopping/buying in his stores no matter which is in your market. They host a pretty fast stable of runners within their ranks.
Shop and compare thats all you can do.

I have been in the Wiregrass location. Nice selection, and the staff was very friendly. I didn’t buy anything. I do my purchases at The Running Center on Dale Mabry. I have known the owner for a long time, so my local loyalty is there.
Great store, highly supportive of local running races & triathlon’s in Tampa Bay area. Good selection of merchandise and professional staff. The Clearwater store is next door to a great bike shop as well, Outspokin.
