No, not the stock market, gay marriage! After the Supreme Court decided it wasn’t yet time to decide on the issue, SSM became legal in five states. Then, the 9th Circuit invalidated bans in Idaho and Nevada, but Kennedy temporarily stayed SSM in Idaho, while flip-flopping on Nevada (eventually letting them happen). Meanwhile West Virginia (!) just threw in the towel. This means 7 states have just allowed SSM this week, while ~9 states may do so in the near future. That doesn’t count four states in Circuit 6…

Meanwhile, the stock market plunged 2%, Coincidence??
