Good thing too. This is how democracies are supposed to work - if the leaders get out of line the population expresses its dissatisfaction at the ballot box.
Hey Dawg, I say watch that place with caution. While the news looks good, I wouldn’t go celebrating a moderate Iran yet. The Ayotollahs still are the major influence and their mass yearly rally during Halloween celebrating the Shah’s downfalll and hatred of America while they pelt the ex-US Embassy and burn Israeli flags does not represent moderation. … and look at the pics … the female voters are still in their ninja/mummified garb.
We can hope but need to be prudently wary. For one what’s happening with the nuclear?
I agree with Kangaroo. I wouldn’t put too much importance to the role of the President or any other elected official, they do not have the REAL power in Iran.
