Tacx I Magic or Computrainer?
Has anyone tested both and can tell witch one is a better buy?
I can’t endorse the CompuTrainer more! I practically live on it! Although I have never used the TacX I-Magic, I did own the TacX Flow prior to my CompuTrainer. The TacX products are quality made and I never had any problems with mine. That being said, the CompuTrainer and its rider performance output seem to be much more “Tri-Friendly” than anything on the market.
I owned an I-magic and just sold it and bought a CT. The reason I bought the i-magic originally was the price. I used it all last winter and is a great trainer. The reason I bought the CT was for coarse downloads for real places which was much more interesting than made up ones for the i-magic. Either one is a great trainer. It comes down to the additional features of the CT and price.
There are plenty of threads here on the CT if you search the archives. The most recent is here. Most people who own them, love them (including me) although the graphics and other features would benefit from an upgrade.
