T2 arm pad mount slipping on carbon extension?

I’m hoping there is a way around this, but my Carbon T2’s won’t allow my arm pad mounting bracket to stay put. It just won’t stay and they are basically worthless until I find a way to make them stick…any ideas?

If I put my weight on them they just slip down…losing my mind here b/c I just bought these things and went on 1st ride today, but had to do the last hour up off the bars b/c of the arm pad issue.

Got a friend with the same problem. Solved by taking fine sandpaper to both the extensions and the inside of the armrest clamps to roughen the surfaces a bit (just remove a little, don’t get into the carbon), then using carbon assembly paste to add friction. Has held since March even over bumpy roads.

My GF’s T2’s were doing the same thing. I fixed them with this product:

I had the same issue. Tried the sandpaper, and then traded them in for some Vision’s. Problem Solved!
