Oh I’m very sure there’s not a single name in triathlon that will draw significant eyeballs from outside the multisport world. Lionel is probably the closest thing we have to a crossover star (LCB maybe) but even his YT following is most likely involved in SBR in one way or another.
To be fair Sam starts strong every season and fades in the back half so this is more a him problem than anything having to do with T100.
How am I not being reasonable regarding Brownlee and Gomez Noya. Javier is 41, he is not a hot shot. Has had some issues with injuries of late. Brownlee, seems to have brittle and injury prone over the last 6 or 7 years. He could be on and win big or be out for 6 months.
Van Riel, still decently healthy and several years of racing left.
Well, Alistair’s celebrity (at least in the UK) most certainly does go beyond the triathlon microcosm. So probably Javier (in Spain) to a lesser extent.
On PTO Ranking points those results mean Knibb and Gentle stay top two, latter increased to 99.94.
Derron improves to 99.55 = #3 above Matthews on 98.04 (Derron would need a win in Taupo to overtake Gentle).
Duffy moves to #9: that was her third 2024 LD score.
Byram moves to #8 as third Brit, behind Matthews and Lee but now ahead of LCB.
Spivey will score 90.30 and so end up with 88.3 in the PTO Rankings for #19 (Ibiza and LLV other two scores).
Diamond tier race, SOF = 98.53, Average of first five = 211:54

I watched some of the races this weekend live on the T100 website. However, I had stuff to do so I nipped back and forth from the TV a few times.
Now I’d like to go back to the coverage and see some stuff I missed, BUT, T100 don’t make the footage available to watch after the live stream has ended. WHY T100? Why??
