Anyone have a picture of their triathlon T-shirt quilt? As corny as it sounds, I’m thinking about making two for my boys with all the triathlon T-shirts I own. Also, any recommendations for a good quilter? I haven’t seen an ad in a while (maybe there is one in a tri magazine but I haven’t haven’t had a subscription to one in a while).
A friend did this for my wife and I. It has a fleece backing and is better than a snuggie.
I had researched the places, have not done it yet, but saved this site as what I thought looked like the best bang for the buck:
that sounds like something a total “non-athlete” would do…you f-ind d-bag. you suck.
I even want to take it a step further - I now want to do something with the 16 years of finishers medals I’ve collected.

I don’t get this post. Should the text be in Pink?

she doesn’t use batting or filling material and can back it with flannel or fleece…very soft and comfy.
I’ve been turning my old medals into refrigerator magnets. I cut off the ribbon, place strips of magnetic tape along the back then used an X-acto knife to trim the edges. Voila - refrigerator art. I live by myself, so I decorate how I please
I’ve seen a friend with a large frame (maybe 2x3 feet or more?) in his workout area with at least 60-70 medals mounted inside on dark blue velvet. A motivational poster of sorts, I suppose.
If you’re looking to get rid of some, you can also send them into Medals for Mettle. There’s a link for local chapters you can send old medals to. I’ve sent in a few from races that were not very significant to me, and I hope that it brightened the day of whomever received it.
