T-Shirt in IM goody bag

I downloaded the IMCA athlete information even though I am not doing the race(future reference) and I noticed a line on Page 6
5. PICK UP GOODY BAGS - Contains: Athlete T-shirt and sponsor product giveaways.

I saw the same line in IMLP this year and I looked around and there wasn’t any T-shirt I could find. I got the goody bag and it contained a poster, some clinique stuff, a nice pen, the local newspaper, a coupon for free socks, and a IMLP license plate frame.

Florida which I also did had the same line excluding the Athlete T-shirt portion. At Florida I missed the goody bag entirely so I have no idea what it contained.

Is there actually an Athlete T-shirt beyond what you get at the finish?

Was there one in the past and they just did not change the text?

Please answer my question as I am doing Arizona and it has the T-shirt line. Don’t make me wander registration looking for schwag.

Wow … who really cares! IMAZ isn’t for 9 months and you’re worrying about whether you get a goody bag T or not???

In my 14 previous Ironman Canada races there has never been a tee shirt in the “goody bag” but maybe this year being my 15th one and the races 25th one there just might be, but I kinda doubt it. Cheers Rob

You get a shirt if you finish. Hat too.

why are the im finishers shirts they give you at the end so ugly? seems like they could hire someone to come up with some cool designs.

They’re ugly because they want you to purchase the cool ones with the finishers merchandise … which seems to be what most want anyway.

Upon finishing in 2007 you get a shirt and a hat too? (just checking) What kind of hat? Are they similar to the hats they gave out in 2002 that had the red m-dot?

For IM Florida in 2000 I got a shirt in the goodie bag sponsored by Isuzu and a hat. Upon finishing a finisher t-shirt.

You get a shirt if you finish. Hat too.

I got those, but I just feel like a fool if I miss stuff that I later see or read about.

At your event I missed the finishing bumper sticker. How the hell that happened I will never know.

I have missed finishing medals(don’t care), food(do care, could not find it yet people talked about it later), etc.

White headsweats with ironman <name/location> on the front in the race colors and finisher stichted on the bill. At least that is what it was for IMFL06 and IMLP07.
