Sydney - How to get my bike from the airport to the hotel?

Any good ideas? Cab companies that use vans, etc?

Unfortunately, I have to spend a couple of days in Sydney on the way to IMNZ later this month. (That is, unfortunately, I can go direct to NZ - I do love Sydney though!).

Airports now have overnight luggage storage. U can just leave ur bike (i assume it is in the bike box) at the airport and then get it back before u leave for Taupo. It is not that much. I would say no more than US$15-20 per night. It saves u the hassle.

We used the Airport Shuttle from our Hotel to the Airport. They have vans. Our van had a trailer (probably because I reserved a ‘place’ for a bike.

And Sydney is really a great city :slight_smile: I wish I were there now (instead in foggy, cold Switzerland)

I second the airport shuttle. I had no problem getting it in the trailer. I know a few people who have had to wait for a 2nd or 3rd van before they had enough room, but that only was about 15-20min. Cheap, and quick.
