This is my first tri (Nation’s Tri) and i do not know what color/tint to get for my goggles. What color goggles do you recommend for swimming in the Potomac? Or does that even matter?

Doesn’t matter too much. Get your tint for the sun, not the water. You won’t see squat in the river either way. If it’s overcast, clear, if sunny, something dark. I have the same goggles in a few different tints for different situations.
Yea that makes sense. I did not think like that.
What goggles do you recommend?
I swim with normal tinted aqua-sphere Kayennes. I really love them but haven;t tried too many other brands. They have a quick-set/release feature that is nice and don’t kill my head after a mile or so.
