Anyone live in this area that can give me some advice?
I will be there on vactation this coming week and was hoping to get in some swimming while I’m there. Can anyone tell me what the water temperature will be, and to the point – do I need a wetsuit for my workouts?
I’m guessing its going to be too cold without a wetsuit, but not sure – I’m having trouble getting the lake temp info off Google.

It varied from 62 to 65 Fahrenheit when I was there last week, which is assuredly wetsuit temperature for me. You didn’t specify where on the lake you’ll be, and I’m told it does make a difference. I was at the Basin Harbor Club near Vergennes, which is toward the southern end of the lake.
Incidentally, there was a guy in a full suit doing laps in the harbor last Friday morning. I was envious.
