I know i just asked about Triathlon clubs etc. But once again i need ya’lls help!
Anyone know of any large swim clubs or like masters swim groups that i could link up with in the Dallas or Orlando areas as i may be living there and want to get connected/check it out before i go.

Irving Masters @ Northlake CC in Irving. Coach Tom Radam has a great program that is triathlete friendly. Lots of longer sets and stroke development stuff. Even the fast, pure swimmers are friendly!

The International Drive YMCA teams (both USMS and USS) are supposed to be friendly to drop-ins.

where in Dallas, there are quite a few depending on where you are looking
People usually say Dallas since it’s the main city but most people are in the smaller burb towns… Plano, Frisco, Irving, southlake, Arlington etc.
DAM- Dallas aquatic masters is in the downtown area, Plano has their own… plano wildcats I believe. Allen and the Colony has a masters group headed up by Dave Young. Each area most likley has one to choose from.

ORLANDO area - I’m a member of the Masters group at NTC (National Training Center) in Clermont led by Sara McLarty (the best triathlon swimmer in the world - she was first out of water at Florida 70.3 out of all men and women!) - I live in Celebration (south of Orlando) and it’s worth every min of the 20 miles I drive to get there - plus it gives me an excuse to work in hills via bike or run after class…
DAM is the biggest in Dallas (again Dallas proper). Lots of triathletes swim with DAM.
