Are any other STers planning on doing this swim in June? I’m going down with family for it but would it would be really cool to have a ST meet up (maybe at Margaritaville?), even it is only a handfull of people. Also would be good training motivation (I think).

wow, that is one great idea for a vacation! usually, ya gotta really hunt around for great places to swim on vacation, but these folks do that for you. clever.
I would love to do this swim some day, but thinking about this swim today is just too overwhelming for me. My best time at an Ironman swim is 1:16 with a wetsuit so I’d be in the water over 8 hours on this swim.
Yeah, but you don’t have to get on a bike after this one plus you’ll have your very own kayak following you around with food!
