On a relevant topic, I’m at 61,100 as of 11/10. jkenny5150 will catch me on the weekend, I’m not swimming Sat or Sun.

Distance Week, however, starts on Monday…

i missed my sunday arvo swim to watch ITU New Plymouth (learned more from that than a pool session IMO)

Shoulder is finally feeling better - I’ve given it two days of feeling good and tomorrow I will SWIM! it’s been three weeks, how much swim fitness do you lose in three weeks?

For distance week, maybe 1 easy ride, nothing else. Total commitment to swim improvement. The rest of the month, good amount of base cycling, couple of maintenance runs. Swimming’s my weakest leg. I’m about as comfortable in the water as Frodo Baggins at a slam-dunk contest.

Do you feel this is really helping your swimming? I need to ramp up my swimming, so I’m curious to hear how you feel you’re progressing.

I definitely feel it’s helping my swimming. This is (contrary to all appearances) a very methodical build up with a lot of attention to detail, particularly where recovery is concerned. And after the build is finished, I’m going to hibernate 'til January. Post race season is the perfect time to eliminate a weakness (swimming’s my worst leg by far).
