I don’t have to run!
I can go home and eat chocolate
Maybe clean, or run errands.
epic, such a strange feeling!

I hate it. I feel so dirty for not working out as I feel I should. It’s like I am ignoring my mistress. ![]()
I usually feel that way too, but after months of marathon prep, and a 9 mile run yesterday
im good!
What race do you have coming up?
Good luck with it!

Houston Marathon
first one
3:30 goal
Ah…there is nothing like the feeling you get when you cross the finish line of your first marathon.
Enjoy the day, enjoy crossing the line, and savor the accomplishment. You will never get another first one.

those are more fun than running?
I am kicking you out of ST.

Agreed, there’s a weird feeling like it’ll all slip away if you don’t get that workout in. Rather than do physical activity I spend the time mentally ramping myself up for the race ahead. Still weird to just watch tv with the bike or running shoes sitting there screaming at you.
“I can go home and eat chocolate.”
You can kiss that 3:30 goal goodbye! Seriously, good luck. No sweat…you’ll kick it hard.
I guess we could give him the benefit of the doubt that maybe he is being sarcastic and forgot the pink font.
I hate taking days off… thats why sometimes i don’t each week… shhhh don’t tell anyone. especially with a taper… its the worst but i got a half marry this weekend so i know i need to
days off suck!
btw running is the best!!! cycling is fun cuz you can go fast and pass people but after a little while gets boring, running is when it gets real fun and you can tell the men from the boys, woman from the girls ![]()

I hated my first Marathon, it is still the hardest, least enjoyable thing I’ve ever done. Fortunately the second one went really well and mostly erased the memory of my first. Hopefully the third in Boston in a couple of months will be even better.
