I have SRAM Force 1x11 derailleur (Type 2.1) with** medium** cage that works perfectly fine. I want one with long cage to accommodate a 42t. New derailleur with long cage is ~$200.
Came across this “pulley kit and long cage assembly” for ~$50 - any thoughts on whether that’s worth getting? Seems like the part comes from SRAM, but I have no idea how hard it is to replace the cage or if this will work the way I want to…
