Would love to hear the group’s thoughts on this question… i know both the Polar and Suunto units have a boatload of features, but what are your feelings about which is best for tri?
Here’s a couple of thoughts that jump out at me… I’m not highly familiar with both, but here’s what I currently know.
Suunto
- no running cadence
- download not IR-based (I’m not a fan of Polar’s IR based system)
- bike functions available via addons
- foot pod not included in base price
Polar
- Running cadence
- no bike functions - speed, cadence
