I needed a good way to throw the bikes in the back of my truck, and wanted something that would work once I get a shell for the back…and of course something that looked cool and different. So I threw this together this weekend. Worked out perfect:
Locking skewers, so the bike won’t walk away if I leave it in the back. Trays are alittle short too, my mtb just barely fits in it, might have to order a longer one for one of the racks. Last thing to do it is add some sort of anchor to the base so it can’t be removed from my truck…won’t have to worry once I get a shell, but that’s a couple of months…and another bike purchase away.
