It’s from America’s Test Kitchen Family Baking Book. Without going into the details, you make a sweet bread dough (flour, yeast, salt, sugar, buttermilk, eggs, etc.), let it rise for 2.5 hours. Cut it into about 40 little balls, roll each in melted butter and then in cinnamon sugar, put into bundt pan. Let rise for another 1.5 hours. Bake for about 30 minutes; the sugar/butter becomes almost a caramel. Make a glaze with confectioner’s sugar, milk and vanilla, drizzle on, and dig in with your hands. Make sure you have enough milk to wash it down, and napkins. I had the kids help me roll the balls.
The book is great so far (only also made their blueberry scones).
