hinking of upgrading my P2SL to P2C this year. I like the bike and fit, but wouldn’t mind a bit more aero and carbon. I am thinking of just buying a frame since I have a crankset and would like to make the P2SL into a road bike. Thoughts on where and when to get the best deal on a P2C and if this sounds like a good plan?

I can’t help much with the where/when part of your question, aside from saying to wait until the new paint schemes come out and find a dealer that’s trying to clear out last years paint schemes. I’d guess Fall/Winter would be the time.
As far the why part…
Do you find the ride of your P2SL harsh or ??? I’m just curious what you think you’re really going to gain (aside from MAYBE a few seconds) by switching to a P2C frame. I have an aluminum Cervelo Dual, and don’t find the ride harsh at all. So, I have to believe the P2SL is equally well-designed. And, that’s the important factor in how a bike rides - not the material they used to build it.
If it’s just that you want a road bike, there are certainly better frame choices than converting your P2SL.

I guess I am not sure what I will gain. Yes, hoping the carbon may be a bit softer, but I haven’t ridden it yet to know. Thanks for the reply.
