Alright all you running shoe junkies, suggest my next shoe. I’m a fairly neutral runner currently running in Asics Cumulus looking for something a little less built up. I run 45-60 MPW but I’m far from fast. Ideally $100 or less.
Thoughts?

Thanks to those who have responded seriously. Any feedback as to what you like about the suggested shoe would be appreciated!

+1.
This shoe is the best combination of great cushioning and light weight that I have run in. It is my staple training shoe and also the shoe I have worn for all but one of the marathons I have done (stand-alone and IM).
I do not like the Speedstar 5 as much as the 4 but it is still a great shoe. The upper in the 5 is a little more snug at first but it loosens up a little bit. Plus they give you multiple color options in case you are picky about your shoe color.
I think the Blur33 concept is good. Not sure if they are ready for serious miles yet though. I like the idea of a lower heel while retaining the cushy forefoot.

Cool. Have you tried the Saucony Kinvara’s yet? I also use Cumulus-like neutral trainers, and I like the Kinvaras for speedwork and tempo runs.
I have a pair of these. I was using Cumulus before that. I really like the Blur.

X 2 on the Gel Speedstar. Unfortunately, I think the shoe went downhill after the 4. Hopefully the 6 will be better.
I now run in-
Addizero Adios for racing / tempo runs
Addizero Boston for other runs.
Brooks Launch. I was a Speedstar fan, but really like these. I wish the Kinvara fit my foot better so I could give those a go…

First post as a ST member!
I have worn the Kinvara’s, Speedstar 5’s, and Launch. The Launch is my favorite. Seems to be the best all around for comfort, weight, and durability. I hear great things about the silence as well but have yet to try them. Also, Brooks has a new line of shoes called Pure Project coming out in Oct. that may be worth looking into.

This. Seriously. In love. Might want to size down .5, be sure to try them on first.
A long steady day is like heaven but when you tune them up they really fly. If you told me 5 years ago I’d be running in K Swiss shoes I would have punched you in the throat but they are superb to me.

Let me qualify that…Kwicky Blade Light. Thank you.
