Suck it, Texas

That first homerun still hasn’t landed
.

Bite me.

Let me know when you finally get spaghetti right.

There is no way that first home run was “only” 423 feet. That was massive. He is ridiculous.

He made it look easy…f**k. just casually smacked it into the second deck. I was at a wedding reception at the time…you should have heard the groan from the guests. ugh. that one hurt.

Have you ever tried hitting a homerun… on roids?

Bite me.

Let me know when you finally get spaghetti right.

I wasn’t going to rise to the bait, but, what the hell are you talking about??

The series isn’t over.

He means the “Italian food” in St. Louis sucks. I always kinda liked the food on The Hill, but WTF is up with the ketchup on a saltine with provel cheese that is “St. Louis-style pizza?”

Stick to the hill. I grew up in an Italian household, and that’s the only area of town we’d go to eat. I can’t stand StL style pizza.

Amighetti’s and Ted Drews were staples after going to the Zoo. Mmmm…

Anyways. As long as ESPN, et al. decide to vote against StL, I’m happy. Fingers crossed we can keep the momentum in Arlington.

Ok, I thought he was ref’ng toasted ravoli. StL. might not know about pasta. Or pizza. We DO know baseball, however. An no, the series isn’t over yet. But Albert just put on the best offensive display in World Series history.

I’m happy either way, although not really a baseball fan. I grew up in Dallas and spent several years in MO (including 2 years at Wash U), and I always liked the Cards.

Would be nice to see the Rangers get a WS title, but honestly, I don’t really care who wins.

I find it amusing that someone from Dallas would give someone from St. Louis a hard time about Italian food. I mean, I’m sure the Maggiano’s in St. Louis is every bit as good as the one in Dallas. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

You are NOT my brother!

Sorry, man. I just don’t have the passion for the game. For me, it’s like golf… watching cement dry.

No worries. As for Italian food in Dallas, you know it’s bad when people are praising the Italian food at Campisi’s . . . which is actually Egyptian.

Two words: Shut OUT.

When I lived/worked in Dallas, I was taken to a “high end” Italian restaurant. It was called “Carrabbas.”

Stick to Tex/Mex …

That right there is funny.

Down here, it’s pronounced “Eye-talian.”

Why do come to Texas and ask for Italian? Do I go to Italy and ask for Chili? No. No, sir, I don’t.

Iced Tea, Steak, Smoked Brisket, Chili & Icecream. When you come to Texas, *that’s *what you order. IN that order.

Sheesh!

What is wrong with people? orderin’ fricken’ Italian…like orderin’ coleslaw without mayo…or potator salad without mustard…might as well just tell yer momma you don’t love her…

Whoa! Whoa! Hey, I did not ask for Italian. I like Italian. I LOVE Tex-Mex. I love brisket, chili, etc., etc. I was taken out to dinner and the person paying chose the restaurant. They wanted to show me “fine dining.” I was stunned.
