Sub zero/wet weather glove hacks?

Does anyone have any hacks to combat cold and wet weather?

I have a pair of neoprene HUUB gloves but hands still numb on the ride.

Thanks.

Was a thread on here a couple of months back about a guy wanting cold weather gloves for his teen son - lots of good stuff on that.

I used to commute sub zero regularly. -14deg C was the coldest commute I ever did.
My kit was cheap UKP5 wool gloves inside Marmot Evolution windblocker gloves. Was fine on road bike, but for that -14degree day then I swapped to the MTB as there was deep snow and my two smaller fingers on each hand caught a lot more wind. For anything below -5 or long weekend rides then wrapping the finger with a little bag between the wool and the evolution worked well. Same with shoes/socks. Thin merino socks, then sandwich bag then thicker wind block sealskinz socks and waterproof overshoes.

If you don’t have lobster claw gloves, put your pinky & ring finger together in the same finger of your glove; you’ll have one glove finger empty & just flopping around, but that’s OK

I’ve got a pair of these (though with 5 fingers instead of the claw) for my commute. Haven’t had any issues down to -15C so far.

I actually used individual finger wraps using the bags that disposable cutlery used to come in. I’d need to separate my little finger in order to extend it whilst sipping my water bottle. #english

(And this was the water bottle that had been shaken around as I rode, you can see it’s turned into a slushie  )
