You’d better add the address you’re going to use, and regularly check, because when we send out our notices to those won our raffle, that’s the address we’ll use. Yes, you can add your address to the raffle even if we have it already.
• Your email address will be added to the lists of THREE entities: Cervelo, R&A Cycles, and Slowtwitch.com. In each case these entities promise not to rent, sell, loan that email address out, and to only use it for its own typical purposes (newsletters, special notices, etc.). Furthermore, each entity pledges to attach an auto-unsubscribe utility to its correspondences to you. This means if there’s any of these lists you don’t wish to be on, you’ll be inconvenienced only once.
• Somebody submitting their email addresses are going to win these prizes, sent out by R&A Cycles. If we don’t hear back from you within 24 hours of sending out the notice that you’ve won a prize, we’ll send out another notice to someone else. We take no responsibility for you not receiving your notice. If you don’t answer back, you lose out, and that’s it. So man your mail client.
So you provide us with news, info and entertainment so you get my email, Cervelo is providing a frameset so they get my email…what’s the R&A connection?
They’re rounding up some more raffle prizes, which we’ll add to this thread as they get rounded up, and they’re doing the execution on the Cervelo frameset. As we unconfuse ourselves, we’ll endeavor to unconfuse everyone else.
IMO, a raffle is MUCH more appealing than a one-time % off discount for the store. Nice. So when does the ‘drawing’ go down and how is it done (electronically randomized and chosen, or the old fashioned way)?
before I dq myself and have to sit in the naughty chair…what’s the deal if you submit more than one email address? I’m not talking creating ones to up my chances but I often submit both work and personal email addresses as they’re mutually exclusive, I can’t check personal at work or work at home.
Any chance ya’ll would extend the 24 hour response schedule? August is prime vacation time and many of us will be away from email for at least a week this month.
can you tell us what to look out for in the subject line of the email? it is important to know what we should look out for, especially with such a short turn around time on the email notice…(personally, it is not uncommon for me to get in excess of 150 emails a day, for example…) thanks Dan!
Can you tell us what day you think the announcement will be made? If I’m going to be gone that day I don’t want to delay someone else getting the prize.
I do as instructed (input my email address, click on “Send”) and get this error message:

yes, you can sign up multiple email addresses. signing friends up, i’m not keen on that. we have a pretty stellar history to date when it comes to people not bitching about getting unsolicted emails. i’d like to keep it that way, and i’d ask that you don’t sign anyone but yourself up unless you either know for SURE that they’re not going to get peeved about getting emails from ALL THREE of the entities here, and/or unless you’re going to tell them you signed them up, so that they know what’s coming.
I just tried to enter via the email address you hold for my ST info and it said error your address may already be held. Does that mean that address is in the draw?
