Stupid wattage questions

So I know nothing about watts on a bicycle. I understand what a watt is and all that jazz. However,

What is the average wattage you would expect to see from 1) a pro IM athlete; 2) a MOP IM athlete; 3) a BOP IM athlete (like me).

What does you average triathlete produce (assume 5’10, 180 - 190 lbs)?

Any ways to estimate your own wattage without buying expensive equipment?

thanks

I don’t do ironman but to give you an idea of my wattage… I’m 6’0", 165-170

yesterday i did a 2 hour ride, avged 22.5mph at 220 watts. Full aero i’d be around 24mph at that wattage.

The TT i did a couple months back i believe i was 26.1 at 280 watts.

You can estimate your own wattage i believe on analytic cycling However i don’t know if it would do much good if you can’t train by it.

Find a steep hill, the longer and steadier the better. Determine grade of said hill using any of a number of online tools. Ride it, record your average speed. Weigh yourself and your bike/kit/bottles, etc.

Go to analyticcycling.com and plug the numbers into “Power, given Speed”. The lower your speed, the less effect your aerodynamics have.
