Stupid question - aero fork and computer thingy

I’ve been training on a road bike and just switched to a cervelo ps sl. The part of my computer that mounts on my fork is rounded to mount on a round fork, but the back of my fork is pointy, so it doesn’t mount well. How do you guys get around this?

Get a rear wheel mount computer and preserve your bike’s great aero fork… I had the same problem and just bought a new computer that had both cadence and rear wheel pick up and it does seem much cleaner. Not what you wanted to hear though…

yeah, that was my next question… the impact of slapping my big computer dealy on my new fancy pants aero forks. Oh well. Buying new stuff can be fun

I bought a Cat Eye wireless speed and cadence. The transmitter is a single unit that has both the cadence and speed pick-ups integrated. It mounts on the chainstay. The display mounts on the bars, and that’s it. The toughest part was actually getting the cadence magnet mounted securely on the crank arm. Retail was $200 CDN, but I was given a 25% discount because I had just bought a bike.

I use a Garmin Forerunner 201. Great for both bike and run.
