Do new headsets (specifically a Cane Creek S1) have some kind of sealed or cartridge bearings that the user doesn’t have to grease? It looks that way but all the headsets I had before the bearings were loose or in a carrier where you could see and grease them. It I can’t see where I would even put grease on this new one.

yes most modern headsets come with ungreasable, sealed bearing. If needed you can prbably find a way to grease them by prying out seals, but its not intended. On some the bearing aren’t even replaceable, at least at a reasonable cost. On the good side most good modern headsets will last forever if not mechanically abused.
