St's of Oregon

Good morning. I’m planning a 3 day trip in mid april for the wife and I in Oregon and I’m not sure where to go. We will bring the bikes. I was looking at the vineards and tulips area. We want to stay in motels or hotels, nothing fancy but kind of nice.

Thanks for your help

Wow, so many different route ideas could be shared with you. If you stay in the Eastside PDX area you have the Columbia River Gorge and all the riding it offers. But you mention vineyards so does that mean in the Washington or Yamhill Counties area? If so, those are the places I ride all the time and there are literally 100’s of miles of great riding out here. You can climb Bald Peak and on a clear day see Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Adams, Mt. Hood, & Mt. Jefferson to the east and the entire Coast Range to the west. You can ride loops around quiet, scenic, and hilly Hagg Lake. You can head out towards Newberg, Dundee, and Lafayette and ride through some of the world’s most beautiful wine country.
You could also ride out towards Helvetia where “Little People, Big World” is filmed and enjoy the backroads and hills of Skyline, Rock Creek, Jackson Quarry, Diary Creek, Roy, North Plains, and West Union.

Just pick one or two and have at it.
Enjoy your stay!
