What is the general thought on this crank set? Good? Bad?
What is the best Isis splined bottom bracket to use with one?
Is the Isis BB a problem?

Check to be sure that it can use an ISIS. Many of the Stronglight cranks have to use the Stronglight BB.
I have one of the earlier Stronglight compacts and am very happy with crank/BB. I believe the Pulsion is claimed to be the lightest compact on the market.
I have a Stronglight Pulsion (non-compact) on my Soloist, and the first ISIS BB I had on there was an American Classic. That lasted 2 seasons before failure, but no problems prior to then. The crank is quite nice, very light and stiff, but according to every mechanic at my LBS, utterly and completely incompatible with Q Rings.
