Strava premium leaderboard "bug": today's results

Ok, you pay up you get the full Strava leaderboards.

I find it really annoying that you can only view the “today” leaderboard results on the actual day you rode it. It’s a freaking database. The lookup value should be the activity date, not “today”. So when you view an old activity and the leaderboard and click “today” it should pull up the values from that day. When you are not in an activity the database lookup should default then to “today” since there is no activity date.

Right?

Am I missing something?

This is something fun to lookup after a weeknight worlds or a club run TT. If I organized a club run TT it would be annoying AF to have to run home after the post-ride beer and jump on before midnight to be able to paste the results over into the tracker.

I haven’t read this in a while and it probably doesn’t directly answer the question, but they did a technical writeup on their leaderboard infrastructure a few years ago. From what I remember I think it implied in a few ways that it would be more costly to do what you’re describing.
